摘要:生物信息学是80年代以来新兴的一门边缘学科,信息
科学在其中具有广阔的应用前景。本文简要介绍基因组信息学的主要研究领域,包括遗传信息的编码、基因识别、核酸序列复杂度研究、核酸序列的相关结构和分形特征、基因组调控的模拟分析等方面,对其中涉及的信息分析和处理问题做一综述,介绍信息科学在这些领域中的重要作用、已取得的成果以及有待解决的问题。信息科学广泛深入地介入生命科学研究领域,将在生命科学重大问题的研究中起到不可替代的巨大作用。

Information Processing in the Bioinformatics
Abstract: Bioinformatics, the anagram which incorporates information science into the biology and with its concept takes shape, is a newly developed multi-disciplinary field which has sprung up vigorously since the late 80’s. In this paper, the main research topics of bioinformatics were reviewed, including the coding of genetic information, gene recognition, complexity of nucleotide sequence, correlation structure and fractal characteristic of nucleotide sequence, and the simulation and analysis of genomic regulation model. The information analysis and processing scenarios involved are also included, together with their many successful applications and open problems appearing in the literature. It is believed that the combination of information science and life science will greatly accelerate the progress of study for life science per se.
